Which involves looking for the perfect photographer for your family. There are so many different photographers out there--no joke. From the editing styles to the personalities, much like the diversity of our world, the types of people who take photos are endless! As they should be. If all photographers looked and acted the same, a lot of people would be out of business and precious photos. Believe it or not, there IS a perfect fit photographer for you out there. You just have to find them! Let's first go over some very important reasons for WHY you should be a good fit.
As we mentioned above, we have a very important job: to capture memories and moments. While our eye for poses and angles might be what initially attracts you, what should ultimately be your deciding factor for hiring a photographer is who's personality and shooting style will capture the personality of your family the best. You should vibe with your photographer because the more comfortable you feel in front of them and the camera, the more creative you can allow yourself to be. You'll feel more at ease laughing and joking like you normally would because you know your photographer won't judge you and will even laugh with you! When your photographer asks you to step out of your comfort zone for that totally-worth-it shot, you might be more willing to do something different that you won't regret, because you know you can trust their creative process. When your photographer says to act like they're not there to capture real, intimate moments, you can be genuine with one another because you know that your photographer will capture the moments exactly how they should be captured.
There are soooo many other reasons for WHY you should hire a photographer that will be a good fit for you. But these are just a few of the reasons that we think are most important.
But How Do I Decide Who to Hire??
While it might be easy for us to say that's a simple answer, it might not be for everyone! What we recommend before you check out Instagram, Pinterest, Google, or Facebook...

Listen, your friends know you. For one, they will not give you a recommendation for a photographer that they had a bad experience with. Second, they want you to have bomb photos too! See who your friends take photos with and start from there. If their photographer is booked out, ask them for recommendations because GUESS WHAT. Photogs KNOW photogs! And usually, we keep a pretty tight community with other photographers that have both a similar style as our own and others who have completely different styles. Trust us on this one. If you don't already know someone, start with someone you know.

Who knows if we will be? We think we might! If you know someone who has shot with us before, ask them about their experience! Now, we are not a perfect fit for everyone. But we love what we do and have fun with you while creating magic together. For our list lovers out there, here's something that might help you decide if we're a good fit.

- Not too sure how to feel about a pose? That's okay! We can try something else, no pressure. But we do highly incorporate movement in our sessions.
