Multi-location Session

Andrew & Audrey are amazing! They were so adventurous throughout the entire engagement session. They even climbed a tree! They are so down to earth, fun, and just plain J O Y F U L. We are so excited to be a part of their engagement & marriage journey!

The future Artmann's chose Pepper's Place, Historic Downtown Birmingham, & Samford University as their locations.

Pepper's Place

What we love about shooting in this location with Audrey & Andrew is the fact that this was the place where their relationship started! Their session began in front of the iconic Pepper's Place sign. They even got to eat some yummy Jeni's Ice Cream during this part of the session!

Historic Downtown

So it's actually a funny story how we ended up here. During the booking process, Andrew & Audrey expressed interest in taking pictures on a rooftop bar. Sounds great right? Well, Joe and I were stuck with one car at the time and he had to work late on the day we shot downtown. So, that meant Judah had to tag along with me (good news: he did great!). Unfortunately, when we went to Carrigan's and tried to act like we didn't see the "21+ ONLY" sign, we were [very politely] told that we couldn't be there because of Judah (oops!). Audrey & Andrew were SO GRACIOUS! At this time, Judah also decided to eat a rock (face palm*). After that, we meandered down to the bridges that look over downtown and found the most gorgeous sunset! It ended up being so worth it.

Samford University

Andrew & Audrey chose Samford as their final location and man was it great! When they suggested it, I assumed we would be taking a lot of pictures in front of the famous Reid Chapel. NOPE! They showed me this BEAUTIFUL hidden area with fields, ponds, creeks, and lovely fall foliage surrounding the Health Sciences building Samford opened up back in 2015 (conveniently after I graduated). What a wonderful hidden gem.
